The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
